Everything you want to know before you order
Is it safe to switch my pet from kibble to Mega Bowl?
Yes; but go gradual. Mix 25% Mega Bowl with 75% current food for the first 3 days, then 50/50, then 75/25, then full Mega Bowl by day 10–14. A slow transition gives the gut time to adjust. Most parents see firmer stools and better digestion by the end of week two.
How do I store it? How long does it last?
Mega Bowl arrives blast-frozen. Keep unopened patties in the freezer, where they last up to 6 months. The night before serving, move a patty to the fridge to thaw. Once thawed, use within 48 hours. Do not refreeze after thawing.
My pet is a picky eater. Will they actually eat it?
Almost always yes. Real meat is far more palatable than processed kibble. If your pet hesitates, warm the patty slightly (not hot) before serving. The aroma does the rest. From our experience, even the most picky eaters just fall in love with Mega Bowl patties.
Do you have food for both dogs and cats?
Yes! We have specifically formulated meals for dogs and cats — ready to eat and ready to cook variants for both. Dogs and cats have very different nutritional needs and our recipes reflect that.
Is it nutritionally complete? Does my pet need supplements?
Mega Bowl is formulated to cover complete daily nutrition — proteins, healthy fats, vitamins, and minerals from whole food sources. No supplements needed. If your pet has a specific medical condition, check with your vet before switching.
How do I know the right portion size?
A general guide: 2–3% of your pet’s ideal body weight per day, split across two meals. A 10kg dog needs roughly 200–300g daily. Exact portions depend on age, activity level, and health. Start with the guide and adjust based on your pet’s weight and energy over 2–3 weeks.
